Weekly insight from Master Daniel Li Ox If we’re not aware of what is an emotion, the first thing we may experience is a re-action. To describe what an emotion is, I like to break the word down into e-motion. That stands for Energy in Motion. In our daily life we are dancing in a full spectrum of vibrations, that are penetrating our field. Some of these make their way through without resistance, some with just a little, but some others create sharp re-actions as if someone had, during the dance of life, walked over our broken toe. If we do not inquire within, these strong reactions can be quite uncontrollable, and the e-motion ends up as an e-no-motion, or what we commonly call an emotional state. This can last for hours, days, months, and in some cases a whole lifetime. We must understand that emotional states are generated and reside within, they are just triggered by external situations. In Chinese Medicine we’ve known for a long time that a negative emotional state has its roots in an internal tension. The tension is not the consequence, but the cause. If we are not aware of that, we may tend to project the cause of the pain on the situation that occurs right in front of us. It seems so real and makes so much sense to our ego. But as it is coming from an internal tension, at one point all our external reality may end up stained by this one emotion, and we can feel there is no escape. We may try to change the outside world or...
Weekly insight by Master Daniel Li Ox As a healer and a teacher, I often hear: “I’ll try Qi Gong, I’ll try Yoga, I’ll try Acupuncture, I’ll try this technique, this method, I heard it’s very good, someone healed cancer or this and that with it!” As if an external technique could fix the unconscious processes of your pains and illnesses. Nothing can be more illusory. Nothing external could ever heal you. This ancient wisdom, these methods, are not there to be tried but to ENTER. We “enter” a Qi Gong process. Qi Gong is a practice that draws you deep within. Imagine your energy field as a garden. Qi Gong helps you feel your way round that garden, all the precious plants that are growing there. And it also helps you become aware of the unconscious forces growing the weeds you don’t want. Qi Gong unifies the body, mind and spirit, and clarifies the new choices to be made. It makes you conscious of how you create tensions in your body. It makes you conscious of how you create your emotional world. And it makes you conscious of the thoughts and affirmations that keep bombarding and programming the life you don’t want. Qi Gong won’t fix you, but it will give you the responsibility and empowerment to change, to reprogram your unconscious mind. And the outcome of that will be the life you want. Remember that Qi Gong won’t make you feel better, but will train you so you can feel more! All the colors of life that show up at every moment like NOW! … and that...
Weekly Insight By Master Daniel Li Ox Humanity’s awareness has mostly thrived within the materialistic realm. How amazing what we’ve created in terms of technological means to explore the outer Universe. Nowadays, we can easily travel around the world in a very short time. Not long ago, we touched the surface of the moon, and recently, we sent out a fabulous robotic explorer, which connects us directly with a live view of the Cosmos. These are only the big collective events. On an individual scale, human awareness is invested in an average of 24 hours a week of TV watching, and most of our yearly holidays are spent in travel. Without a doubt, humanity has tried to conquer the outer world as a means to achieve happiness. At the same time, science has been inquiring in the opposite direction, hypothesizing that even the smallest particle is endlessly contracting and dividing, thus moving towards infinity as well. So If we look at humanity as being the midpoint between the infinitely big (the ever expanding Universe) and the infinitely small (the endlessly contracting or dividing smallest particle), then doesn’t the outer Universe only represent half of the whole portrait? And if we’re standing in the middle of these two halves, wouldn’t it be sensible to assume that they are directly connected in a continuum? If this is true, then there is no separation between what is inside and what is seen outside. Thus, our inner world becomes the one acting behind the scenes as the matrix of our outer reality. With that understanding, we can see clearly that by only looking outward...
Weekly Insight by Master Daniel Li Ox All along the eternal journey of the Soul, our consciousness encountered an infinite spectrum of experiences. At some point, the dualistic mind of the ego has taken the command and started to refuse some aspects of the natural unfolding of life. This conditional acceptance lies at the source of our contractions, which are holding fragments of the past. Everything is energy. You and me, the weather, the things that surround you, a situation, or an event; absolutely everything is energy that has manifested in various shapes. By being selective and refusing certain expressions of life itself, the creation of tensions blocks the natural movement of life and holds it trapped within our field. Theses unhealthy reactions, which are clumsy attempts to avoid feeling uncomfortable events, have created bubbles of stagnant energies within the tissues of our bodies. These bubbles hold memories of life inside, a kind of collection of disliked feelings. Healing is about freeing our body-mind-spirit from the tensions and trapped energies that are keeping the ghosts of our most unpleasant experiences within our energy field. A healing journey is about turning our awareness inward in search of those retained energies so we can allow them to continue on their way through our body-mind-spirit, and out of our field. It doesn’t matter if the energy was trapped yesterday, during childhood or during a past embodiment, the intensity of the memories and feelings locked in that energy has been unaltered. No matter the terror, the sadness, or the physical pain that was there before, the healing will find all this untouched. Healing...
Weekly Insight by Master Daniel Li Ox We’re born with the Divine gift of Creation. This gift is one that has come with a double-edged blade. The tricky part is that we cannot deactivate the power of that gift. We ARE the relentless creative power of the Universe. We ARE It! All human sensing, thought, speech, body movement, breathing rhythm, and mental images to name a few, are “shaping the Qi Field.” When living unconsciously, many of our behaviors and reactive outputs end up shaping our Qi Field in a way that is not necessarily aligned with the Oneness of the Universal Forces, and, in many cases, does not mirror the field we wish to see appearing before our eyes. We live in a world ruled by the Universal Law of Cause & Effect where every vibration we send out is reflected back. In our modern age, Qi Gong has been put in the same category as other fitness systems. For many, Qi Gong is just another practice that offers a different set of tricks that promise to fix all human misery. In reality, Qi Gong is a higher form of practice thats offers methods that use ritualized body movements, breathing patterns, imagery, sounds, speech, and other actions related to the lifestyle, to harmoniously shape and raise the frequency of our energy field. When I say “ritualized,” I mean associating moving, breathing, eating, speaking, relating, etc. with an intention. Intention implies consciousness; it is an action. Without consciousness it is a reaction. If not regulated in a healthy way there can be a risk of hazardous effects. As “ritual”...
Weekly Insight By Master Daniel Li Ox Losing control over your mental and emotional clinging. Ceasing to have opinions and make judgments about the life that is naturally unfolding. Giving up all resistance to life. Surrendering to the Universal power burning at the Source of all life. Letting go of all restless contractions and defensive attitudes that make it seem as if the Universe was against your presence on this Earth. Yielding to the way that life has chosen to show up before your eyes, even if it does not appear the way you imagined it should. Unconditionally accepting that the ego must die. Let its armor collapse and disintegrate so the Heavenly Being you came here to ground can reach its fullest bloom. So many of the words we usually associate with weakness – surrendering, yielding, letting go – are actually the essential principles necessary to bring about complete healing and a powerful, creative, and harmonious life. Your life is made up of all the sensations, feelings, and emotions you are experiencing right at this very moment. Embrace it. Inhale it deeply… then exhale it completely. Let it die, let it go because your present death is essential to your new birth. Remember that death is the opposite of birth, not the opposite of Life. Life has no opposite, it is all Life – endlessly renewed if one learns to let the old...
