Nothing under the sky, is softer and weaker than Water,

Daughter of a Kung Fu master, Mei loved the martial arts from a very young age. She studied Yuan (circle) Neng (energy) Gong with a Wudang Taoist Master, and acupuncture from Doctor Lei Long Hung who introduced Mei to traditional medicine. She also entered the Chen Style family and studied with the 19th Generation Master Chen Zheng Lei who is recognized by the government as one of the ten great martial arts masters of China.
Founder of the Long Tou Shan Martial Arts School of China. She has more than fifteen years of experience teaching Tai Chi to students from around the world. Mei has been accredited as a 6th Level Master by the Chinese Wushu Association. In 2007 the Chinese Wushu Association invited Mei to be examined as an Advanced Level Wushu Coach and she was subsequently invited to participate in the Beijing Olympics Wushu Competition in 2008. In 2009, Mei won a gold medal as best tai chi instructor as she led her student group to great success at the regional competition in Guilin, China, where several students brought home medals.
Though she is proficient at both sword and hand styles her specialty is a form of freestyle Chen Tai Chi Chuan, which allows her to select steps from the Lao Jia and the Xin Jia (long forms) and improvise her own sequences. Mei speaks Chinese and very good English.
Master Mei Juan Luo will be teaching daily Freestyle Chen Tai Chi Chuan at the Tai Chi Retreat.

The Tai Chi Retreat Location
In the northeast of Guangxi Province and to the southeast of Guilin city, Yangshuo offers breathtakingly beautiful scenery, particularly along the hill-lined Li River. Streets in Yangshuo are kept in their original style, preserving the layout of the ancient city.
The special geography gives it breath-taking beauty while over 1,400 years of history bless it with a deep traditional culture. The diverse ethnic minority groups including Hui, Zhuang, Yao and others, enrich it with special folk cultures represented by their various festivals; while many foreign residents add exotic flavors to its fascination.
The famous Li River traverses the county and brings it the most beautiful scenery. Along the extremely pure river, thousands of hills stand in different poses and with different expressions, such as Moon Hill, Mural Hill and Schoolboy Hill which is the natural stage of the world famous opera ‘Impression Sanjie Liu’. Sanjie Liu is a fairy singer in the legend of the Zhuang minority group. Big Banyan, a huge tree with a history of over 1,400 years, is said to be the place where her love story happened. The ‘Little Li River’- the Yulong River – is a paradise for a cruise because of its green hills, silky water and ancient bridges. You can also go to Xanadu, a primitive minority village full of folk culture and tranquil rurality.
